Advanced Virtual Firewall

TWSC Advanced Virtual Firewall (VFW) provides the top next-generation firewall with threat protection to ensure your applications and data security on TWSC.

Only Tenant Admins can access this service.

Create an Advanced Virtual Firewall​

  • Go to the Advanced Virtual Firewall service, click ＋CREATE on the Advanced Virtual Firewall Management page.

  • Set the basic information of the firewall: name, description and image. When you're ready, click Next：Network >.

  • Select the Untrusted Network and the Trusted Network, and then click NEXT：PASSWORD>.

caution

Selecting the same network for untrusted and trusted networks will cause the firewall to run abnormally.

  • Set the login password of the web management interface, then click NEXT：REVIEW + CREATE>.

  • Check the settings and the estimated cost, then click CREATE to complete.

  • The firewall will be ready when it turns to the Ready state.

Setting up an Advanced Virtual Firewall might take some time. It is normal for the Initializing state to last longer, and during this period, deleting the items is not possible. Please wait until the state changes to Ready before using it.

View Advanced Virtual Firewall Details​

  • On the Advanced Virtual Firewall Management page, select a firewall to view the detailed information. You can click the buttons on top to delete the item or refresh the page.

Log in to the web management interface​

  • On the Advanced Virtual Firewall Details page (as shown above), click the WEB management interface link, log in to it with Username admin and password set when you created the Advanced Virtual Firewall.
